
Multiple Winter Weather Alerts Are Now In Effect For ND
Get Ready for a Potpourri of Winter Weather in North Dakota
Multiple Winter Weather Alerts are now in effect for North Dakota, ranging from a Winter Storm Warning over northwest North Dakota to a Winter Storm Watch over the rest of northern North Dakota.
The cities included in the Winter Storm Warning include Williston, Minot, and Bottineau, and these communities could see 3 to 8 inches of snow from 6 pm tonight through Wednesday evening. The cities included in the Winter Storm Watch include Devils Lake, Grafton, and Grand Forks from late tonight through Wednesday evening. These areas could see 6 inches of snow or greater.
There's also a Winter Weather Advisory for the counties south of the Winter Storm Warning area, which includes the cities of Beulah, Garrison, and Watford City, with 1 to 3 inches of snow expected in this area.
It Looks Like Mostly Wind for the Capital Region
There's a Wind Advisory for Morton County and the rest of southwest North Dakota from 6 pm tonight until 6 pm tomorrow. Winds gusting from 30 to 50 miles per hour.
We are expected to see some rain in the Capital Region this afternoon and evening, up to a quarter of an inch. That rain will turn to light snow overnight, with a coating to an inch of accumulation.
