That will be no different this year, with the likes of Megadeth, Buckcherry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Collective Soul, and David Lee Roth all set to perform this August in Sturgis, South Dakota.

However, a female country superstar is set to break up the rock monotony at Sturgis this year. In fact, she is the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year. She's even won this prestigious award two of the last three years. I'm speaking none other than Lainey Wilson.

Lainey Wilson to Perform at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip

Lainey Wilson will take the stage at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on Wednesday, August 12th. Lainey Wilson will also be one of the headliners at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, on Thursday, August 6th. Sturgis is about 4 1/2 hours from BisMan, and about the same for WE Fest near Detroit Lakes. Both of these shows are very drivable from the Capital City.

These will be the two closest shows to Bismarck-Mandan to see Lainey Wilson in concert in 2026. If you have never had the opportunity, all I can say is don't miss out. I saw Lainey Wilson at the North Dakota State Fair a couple of summers back, and she was incredible live.
