He will visit both North and South Dakota starting on July 1st, as he will be in Medora for the dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, honoring Theodore Roosevelt's legacy.
Did you know that the Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota, is actually not a typical library? You won't be able to check out books. According to Travel North Dakota, the Presidential Library is a state-of-the-art, interactive museum and experiential space where Roosevelt's life comes to life through multiple dynamic exhibits.
The Grand Opening
Medora, North Dakota, is holding four days of activities to celebrate the grand opening of the Presidential Library, including live music, patriotic festivities, food trucks, family activities, the Medora Musical, and now President Trump's visit. The library will open to the public on July 4th, in honor of America's 250th birthday. If you were hoping to attend this event, it looks like you are out of luck. The number of signups has been reached.
The Building Design
The Presidential Library is built into the landscape of Medora. The library embraces outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding trails. You can literally step onto the Maah Daah Hey straight from the boardwalk. You can get to know more about the Presidential Library here.
Trump will also Visit South Dakota
This will happen on Friday, July 3rd, when Trump will headline the Independence Day celebration at Mount Rushmore. This event is a part of the official "Freedom 250" celebrations honoring the country's 250th anniversary, and will be highlighted with a massive fireworks show. Attendance is restricted to lottery ticket winners only.
