Wiener Fest is Coming to Bismarck

According to a press release from our friends at Funatix, the historic Bismarck Depot will host this event on Saturday, July 18th. By the way, we're talking dogs to real dogs: loaded hot dogs, brats, sausages to adorable dachshunds.

What to Expect

This event will feature top local and regional vendors showcasing their signature take on hot dogs for a night of tasting, voting, and eventually crowning a champion. Every ticket to the event includes sampling tokens redeemable for food, desserts, and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and of course, the chance to cast your vote.

A Unique New Experience

According to General Manager of Funatix, Will Satler, "With Wiener Fest, it's something that is completely out of the box that brings people together in a fun, lighthearted way. And, with America turning 250 this year, it felt pretty fitting, because nothing says celebration quite like a weiner!"

Once again, the crowd will vote and crown a champion for North Dakota. Vendors will compete with everything from classic ballpark dogs to bold, gourmet creations. Guests will enjoy the taste-testing, the comparison, and ultimately decide who earns the title and year-long bragging rights.

Wiener Dogs

No "Wiener Fest" would be complete without wiener dogs. A dedicated dog zone will feature dachshunds and other adoptable dogs available for attendees to meet, pet, and take photos with throughout the evening.

Competitive Eating

Adding to the competition, the "Great Glizzy Gobble-Off" will showcase North Dakota's top competitive eaters going head-to-head for a trophy and bragging rights.

Wiener Fest is designed to be a fun and family experience. Tickets are 35 dollars, and kids 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult. Plus, kids can enjoy a bounce house, balloon artists, and more.

#1 Classic Wiener Pass - $35 (5 pm entry, 8 sampling tokens)

#2 Loaded Wiener Pass (VIP) - $65 (4 pm entry, 15 tokens, fast-pass vendor lines, shaded seating and private restrooms, and a Wiener Fest koozie) Limited availability.

#3 Ultimate Dog Lover Pass - $145 (3:30 pm entry, unlimited tokens)
