Are Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Headed Towards an Engagement?

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom may have only rekindled their romance recently, but it looks like things are really getting serious.

Speaking to People, a source close to the pair revealed that the actor is considering proposing to the the pop star.

"Orlando doesn’t have a ring yet but has been talking about the future. Everyone would be excited if they got engaged. Katy is wonderful," they shared.

The timing would make sense: Perry and Bloom have been dating on and off for the past two years, and just last week, they took their romance to a new level by making their red carpet debut together as a couple at the Gala for the Global Ocean at the Opera of Monte-Carlo in Monaco.

As for what has kept their on-again, off-again love alive since they were first linked in 2016? Privacy is key, a source told Entertainment Tonight.

"It truly was the best decision they ever made because it reminded them how much they love each other. Keeping their relationship a secret while they worked on their love for one another has completely turned things around for them."

And the best part? Bloom's mom apparently "loves" Perry!

That said, a ring can't be too far in the future.
