We don’t know much about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We know that Luke Skywalker is actually in it this time (but we don’t know if he is the last Jedi or not). We know Rian Johnson wrote and directed the film. We know when the movie comes out. We know, um, there will be action figures? We’re rapidly running out of confirmed, verifiable information.

But wait! Here’s some news! From The Star Wars Show, a first look at a new spaceship from the film. It is called the “TIE Silencer,” which is the informal name of the (deep breath) “Sienar Jaemus TIE/VN Space Superiority Fighter.” Yeah, TIE Silencer is better, let's definitely stick with that. You can see it in the video above. (It comes with a SPOILER warning, but is it really a warning that Kylo Ren will fly in a spaceship? That seems kinda obvious to me.)

The ship has “laser cannons and a missile launcher.” Dr. Evil would be so proud. It basically looks like a “darker, sharper-edged TIE Intercepter” which is a cool name, but not as cool a name as TIE Silencer. Here are some still images of the ship (which will probably be full of lightsaber blast marks on the inside from Kylo throwing a fit and smashing into stuff when he doesn’t get his way):
