A Michigan man fled a traffic stop early Wednesday Jan. 21 -- only to present himself in dramatic fashion at an Ohio prison.

Jason Davis, 33, was pulled over by police on a routine traffic violation. He fled the scene, presumably to avoid the drug charges he now also faces.

In the end, Davis smashed through a gate and drove right in to the parking lot of the Toledo Correctional Institution in Ohio -- after driving all the way around the perimeter of the facility.

His car ran over a spike strip, which punctured his tires, allowing police to nab him.

Davis now faces charges for drug possession, vandalism of government property... and failure to use his turn signal.
