Mandan Traffic Stopped by a Cow on Memorial Highway [VIDEO]

On Friday (9/4) morning, residents of Bismarck-Mandan were met by an unusual commuter on their way to work.

A large cow was spotted on Memorial Highway in Mandan. Police were on scene to help guide the cow off the road to safety.

Although cows are a common sight on the outskirts of town, it is not something one would expect to see on your everyday drive to work.

Loren Zuraff of Bismarck posted on his Facebook page after witnessing the cow.

Lol!! Saw a bunch of cops in mandan with their lights on.. there's a cow running rampant in the street Lol!!

Police said the cow escaped from Kist Live Stock Auction and is now safe in a cornfield.
