Naked Man Runs down ND Highway after Stealing a Truck

You never know what you'll find on the back roads of North Dakota. Here we have a man from Velva, running naked on Highway 30 in Stutsman Country about 10 miles south of Medina.

About 3 AM Tuesday morning, the sheriffs department received a call about a naked man, running in the cold night weather.

According to police reports, the gentleman, believed to be in his upper 30's had been driving a Chevrolet truck that was reported stolen from South Dakota.

Once deputies caught up with the man, he was taken to the local hospital then to the ND State Hospital for further observation and mental evaluation.

The man is being investigated for possession of stolen property.

No clue as to why he was naked on the side of the highway.
