Did you hear the news about adverse reactions to the Johnson & Johnson Coronavirus vaccine? According to CBS News, "virtually every state" stopped administering the vaccine after the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommended a "pause" on using it. This all happened because of a potential link between the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and blood clots in some of its female recipients.

NBC News reports that, of the 6.8 million Johnson & Johnson vaccine shots administered, six women had blood clots within the first six to 13 days of receiving the shot. The station also states that Dr. Fauci believes that the "pause" should only last days or weeks, and that this will not largely affect administration of COVID-19 vaccines. Get the full story from NBC News here.

Are you a North Dakotan or Minnesotan who was administered the Johnson & Johnson vaccine? If it is the vaccine you were administered, chances are, you do not have to worry. KVRR (Fargo) reports that 184,000 Minnesotans and 21,000 North Dakotans received the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson. But, as stated above, only six females in the first six to 13 days had the severe reaction with resulting blood clots, throughout the whole country! And according to KVRR, neither the Minnesota nor the North Dakota Departments of Health has received reports of blood clots.

I am still not sold on getting any COVID-19 vaccine. But are six cases of blood clots out of 6.8 million vaccines administered enough reasons to cause a frenzy over?
