It was probably a little too close for comfort for the North Dakota State Bison, but they have advanced in the FCS Playoffs after defeating Coastal Carolina, 39-32, in Fargo earlier today (Dec. 13th).

The Bison were led by running back John Crockett, who racked up a career-high 227 yards rushing on just 26 carries. Crockett's 45-yard run in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winner for the Bison, who are looking to win their fourth straight FCS Championship.

Quarterback Carson Wentz was 11-17 for 173 yards and two touchdowns and Carey Woods caught four passes for 48 yards to help lead the Bison to victory.

NDSU's path to their fourth straight FCS Championship will next have to go through Sam Houston State, who knocked off Villanova 34-31 to cement their spot in the next round. That game will be played next Saturday at the FargoDome.
