The North Dakota State Bison learned who their opponent will be for the FCS Championship matchup on Saturday, January 6th in Frisco, Texas.

Much like NDSU did in their 55-13 win over Sam Houston State, James Madison (14-0) decimated South Dakota State (11-3), 51-16.

After a relatively close first half with JMU up 21-10 on SDSU, the Dukes scored 30 points in the third quarter, which included two long running touchdowns in the first five minutes of the second half by JMU running back Marcus Marshall of 65 and 87 yards. South Dakota State had 10 total turnovers in the lopsided matchup.

Last year, NDSU was eliminated in the semifinal by James Madison at the Fargodome in the 2016 FCS Playoff matchup at the Fargodome, 27-17. It'll certainly be a chance for the Bison to get some revenge in Frisco, Texas during their matchup on Saturday, January 6th.

The championship game is currently scheduled for 11 a.m. on January 6th and will be televised on ESPN2.
