New Dollar Tree Location Opening In North Dakota

We've heard about many chain stores closing over the past six months: Big Lots!, Hobby Lobby, Party City, etc.

Today, we have good news. There will soon be a new Dollar Tree location in North Dakota.

of course, many of us were sad over the recent price changes at the store. The Dollar Tree was one of the few places left where you could get things for just one dollar.

Now, in 2025, Dollar Tree has items that are priced between $1.25 and $5. With all the tariffs and inflation, it's not hard to understand why the franchise chose to raise its prices.

Even with the cheapest items at Dollar Tree now being $1.25, it's still one of the cheapest stores to shop at.

It looks like we will soon have a new Dollar Tree location opening at 530 6th Ave. N in downtown Fargo.

The location was formerly the home to a restaurant called "Moms n More". That restaurant closed down last fall, according to Inforum. 

Now, the source says a Dollar Tree store will be taking its place.

According to the source, another new Dollar Tree just opened in Fargo at 3109 13th Ave S. The store just celebrated its grand opening.

There are currently four Dollar Tree locations in Fargo/West Fargo, soon to be five.
