As school begins, so does the issue of bullying which happens from time to time. Here are some statistics for North Dakota. 

In North Dakota, 19% of high school students reporting being bullied on school property. That seems pretty high,  so  WalletHub today released its report on 2018’s States with the Biggest Bullying Problems as well as accompanying videos.

To identify the states where bullying is most prevalent, WalletHub’s analysts compared 47 states and the District of Columbia across some key metrics.

Bullying Prevalence & Prevention in North Dakota (1=Biggest, 24=Avg.):

  • 3rd – % of High School Students Bullied on School Property

  • 9th – % of High School Students Bullied Online

  • 25th – % of High School Students Involved in Physical Fight at School

  • 3rd – % of High School Students Who Attempted Suicide

  • 5th – Student-to-Counselor Ratio

  • 9th – State Anti-Bullying Laws & Policies

  • 2nd – State Anti-Cyberbullying Laws Requiring School Policy

It's good that there is some attention being paid to this issue because there is no need for bullying.
