Temperatures are already starting to dip a little bit, and there are signs of fall all over North Dakota. Halloween stuff is popping up in stores; we're pulling out our sweatshirts and warmer boots and putting up our fall decor. While it's still early, you might want to remove certain items from your garage before the serious cold comes. To help you get organized and save you the cost of replacing these items, we've put together a list.

7 Things You Should Remove From Your Garage

1. Batteries

You might have had a few summer projects going and kept some batteries in the garage; now is the time to grab them and bring them inside before it gets cold.

2. Aerosol Cans

Anything that is in a pressurized spray can should probably come out of the cold. As you know, these things can go boom.

3. Old Pictures

While the other two might seem like common sense to you, this one you might find a little unusual. Be sure to bring in old irreplaceable photographs. According to Southern Living, cold temps can cause these photos to become brittle, leading to tearing or fading.

4. China

If you have any old, antique china stored in your garage, you might want to move it. Temperature fluctuations can cause chips and cracks.
