Horror Movies That Are Set In North Dakota
If you're really into spooky season like me, you're probably binge-watching a bunch of horror movies to get into the spooky spirit. Well, if you're going to watch scary movies, you'd better check out these ones that are set in North Dakota.
Horror Movies Set In North Dakota
1. Messengers
This movie came out all the way back in 2007, and is set on a sunflower farm right here in North Dakota—Dylan McDermott and Twilight's Kristen Stewart star in this nail-biter.
The two start observing paranormal activity, seeing apparitions throughout the film. Stewart has to convince McDermott's character that the place is truly haunted.

2. Leprechaun
This is one film I cannot watch. The villain is just too creepy for me. The film was released in 1984 and stars Warwick Davis and Jennifer Aniston.
The characters go on a trip to Ireland and end up stealing a pot of gold. This turned out to be a terrible decision, as when they returned to North Dakota, they realized the gold belonged to an, you guessed it, evil leprechaun.
I have tried to watch this movie on several occasions, but have not been able to get through the beginning. I get too creeped out and have to turn it off.

Sadly, I only found two horror movies that were set in North Dakota; if you know of any others, let me know. Send a message in the app!
