North Dakota’s Favorite Horror Movie Villain

With Halloween just a couple of weeks away, many of us are scrambling to get candy, make plans, and get our costumes together. One other way many of us prepare for the spooky holiday is by watching our favorite horror movies.

I've been asking everyone who calls into the radio station all week, Who is your favorite horror movie villain; The answers were pretty mixed.

I had a couple of people say Art the Clown from Terrifier. In my opinion, he has to be, hands-down, the most terrifying clown of them all. You can say it is "It," but I would argue he's not even a clown; he's an alien, right? Either way, Art takes the cake for me.

Others named classic villains like Dracula and Freddy Krueger. Because I got so many different answers, I thought it would be good to settle this once and for all.

Who is the most popular, the most-picked all-time favorite horror movie villain in the state of North Dakota? Nightmare Nostalgia did a study, looking at Google trends, and found that the most popular villain in North Dakota is none other than Norman Bates.

Norman Bates was the main character in Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 film, Psycho. In the movie, he was a serial killer with a split personality. He went around killing women. I'm sure you recall the infamous shower scene.
