Only One North Dakota City Makes the Top 100 Cities for Millennials

Millennials make up a huge section of our population, and they represent the age group of 25-34 year olds, also known as generation Y.

Niche published a list of the top 100 cites in the US for millennials, and only one North Dakota city made the top 100.

Niche looked at several factors to make this list. The factors included social aspects including restaurants, housing, bars, education and jobs. Some of the agencies providing information included the U.S. Census, FBI and other governmental agencies. Niche ranked each cities livability for this age group.

The top 5 cities for this active age group are

1. Arlington, VA
2. Cambridge, Mass
3. San Francisco, CA
4. Alexandria, VA
5. Minneapolis, MN

and at # 48 is Fargo, which received the grades of

• B+ Public Schools
• B  Housing
• A-  Good for families
• C+- Crime and safety
• A  Nightlife
• B  Diversity

All in all, some pretty good grades from Fargo.
