The Bismarck Police Department in conjunction with the National Police Canine Association’s North Central Region will host the first ever "Annual Midwestern Police Canine Competition."

The event which takes place on Saturday (July 29, 2017) will showcase various police dogs competing in a 'stress obedience course.'

It will involve dogs jumping over high barricades and taking down violent attackers. Cottonwood Park will host the competition and there will be free food for those who attend.

Raffles tickets will also be sold and attendees can win a Carson Wentz jersey along with other prizes. All proceeds go into the regional training fund for next year’s competition and training.
