Sam Smith Delivers Powerful Performance of ‘Stay With Me’ on ‘Good Morning America’ [VIDEO]

It's no surprise that British powerhouse Sam Smith can sing live, but that doesn't mean we were any less moved by his emotional performance of 'Stay With Me' on 'Good Morning America' today, June 17.

The 22-year-old singer belted out his hit with genuine feeling, and the intensity of the song was only enhanced by the full band, orchestra and chorus of gospel singers behind him. Smith's voice is so deep and rich, and the song is so heart-wrenchingly beautiful that he appears to be wiser than his 22 years, particularly during a powerfully packed performance like this one.

Though some members of the audience were taking pictures and filming his performance, they were silent while he sang, clearly struck by the sheer emotion and passion of the ballad.
