How are you feeling today?  Stressed?

Not if you live in one of these two cities in North Dakota.  Two of our towns made "the least stressed cities in America for 2021", according to our friends at WalletHub.

In the article, it went on to say, that Americans are coming off one of the most stressful years in our history with all of the problems that COVID-19 presented.  However, two North Dakota towns rose above the stress and found a way to take a deep breath and say, "everything is going to be alright."  Sounds like a country song I know.

Bismarck came in as the 8th least stressed city in America, while Fargo came in at #6.

Not to shabby when you think about it.  To determine the data, WalletHub compared more than 180 cities across the country in 41 key metrics.  Their data encompassed a wide variety indicators including, COVID-19 cases to average weekly work hours, divorce and suicide rates.

Bismarck faired especially well in financial stress, family stress and Health and safety stress.

The only area we needed some help in is "work stress."  Which is easy to understand after the last year.  Just keeping your job was a daily worry for many.  Bismarck also had one of the highest median credit scores.

Fargo's only blemish was scoring a little lower on "health and safety stress".  Other than that, Fargo was near the top in almost all the categories.  Fargo North Dakota, also has the lowest share of adults in fair or poor health at 10.20 percent.

So, take a chill pill and be glad you live in one the least stressed cities in America.
