Back in July, Sleepy Hollow Theatre and Arts Park in Bismarck was hit with vandalism which caused the cancellation of a show and cost thousands of dollars in damage. Now, they're getting a security upgrade.

In the coming weeks, new security cameras will be installed at the park. An internet service for the new security cameras system has already been installed at the park.

According to the Bismarck Tribune, Bismarck Parks and Recreation District's facilities and programs director Kevin Klipfel has said that different areas around the park will be recorded by the new cameras in case any problems occur.

The vandalism incident that occurred a few months back was done by three teenagers, who were cited for burglary and criminal mischief. The incident resulted in approximately $4,000 damage.

The new cameras and security equipment will cost about $7,000, as the performing arts group continues to accept donations, according to Sleepy Hollow's executive director, Susan Lundberg.
