In celebration of Kokkeler's Jewelry's 65th anniversary in Bismarck, they wanted to do something grand for the holiday season. And what is grander than giving away a beautiful diamond, valued at OVER $4,000?
All holiday season long, you entered for your chance to win from Kokkeler's Jewelry - both on-air and at Kokkeler's. Hot 97-5 had you enter daily words, hooking weekly qualifiers up with $100 to Kokkeler's. And Kokkeler's picked five in-story qualifiers. Then, after weeks of picking finalists, last Friday, 10 were in the running for the 0.65-carat ideal cut colorless diamond - worth over $4,000!
While only one person could win the stunning diamond, the consolation prizes were also exquisite. Seven of the finalists each won a stackable diamond bracelet and two finalists each won a $250 certificate to Kokkeler's Jewelry.
In order to have a socially distant and safe grand prize giveaway, we did a virtual event where qualifiers and their friends and family could all tune in to watch. We had all of the qualifiers' names on in gold and silver confetti-filled balloons. We popped the balloons, giving away glamorous prizes. Of course, the last balloon popped was the grand prize winner - Nicole H.!
