Originally, the forecast predicted only about an inch, maybe two across the region. After the first round of snow moved through the area, though, the totals were a bit higher.

Expect above-normal temperatures moving through the week. We will have very hazardous conditions of melting during the day as temperatures rise above freezing and expected to dip below freezing at night.


Here are your snow totals-

Elgin received the snow crown at 5 inches. Glen Ullin picked up 4 inches through 12 Noon Tuesday. Other totals include Bismarck-Mandan and Hazelton at 3.5 inches, Flasher, Hebron and Huff with 3 inches.

As another system moves through the area over the next 12-24 hours, we can expect the possibility of another inch to inch and a half.
