State Board of Higher Education Votes on the Chancellor

Today the State Board of Higher Education took a vote on the buyout of Chancellor Hamid Shirvani's contract for his remaining two years. What they decided might shock you.

In the past, the Board has always been fully supportive of Shirvani. Today, they voted to buyout his contract with a vote of 8-0. Shirvani had actually proposed that they buy him out, so he can "move on". Read more about it here: http://www.ndus.edu/news/detail.asp?newsID=188
