The NoDAPL Protesters Are Back in Town…Temporarily
This week through Sunday, those who oppose the Dakota Access Pipeline have reunited for a time of 'healing.'
The event which is called the 'Mní Wičoni Healing Gathering,' began on Monday and continues for the entire week as an opportunity "for Water Protectors, Allies and Supporters. It will be a time for healing, ceremony, reflection, strategizing, planning and celebration" according to a Facebook event.
In theory, this gathering will be a little more tame than the last time around and a set schedule of activities has been planned for each day. The gathering also has its own website.
The gathering is being held at Porcupine Creek on private land, just northwest of Fort Yates.
