Three High School students were killed in a tragic traffic accident  Monday night. The  students were from Ray, ND.

The accident happen about 8:30 Monday night and it was reported that ice was on the road.

Police report that the three students died when the truck they were riding veered off the road on Highway 2 in Williams County, crossed the median and was struck by a semi truck going the other direction.

The 17-year-old driver was from Epping, while his 17- and 18-year-old passengers were from Ray.

It is not known of the teenagers were wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the truck was taken to Tioga Medical Center for his injuries.
