North Dakota surrendered 38 first half points to UC Davis.

UC Davis scored on all but one possession in the first half en route to a 48-24 victory over UND. The Fighting Hawks defense gave up 651 total yards of offense and couldn't keep up with the passing game of the Aggies.

UC Davis quarterback Jake Maier was 33 of 38 for 415 yards and 4 touchdowns and Keelan Doss had 11 catches for 199 yards, which also included a 65-yard reception for a touchdown in the first quarter. Wesley Preece scored 3 touchdowns receiving on 97 yards while making 8 catches.

Despite the fact the Fighting Hawks had 294 yards rushing, they weren't able to strike when needed against the air game from the Aggies. John Santiago finished with 170 yards, including an 81-yard touchdown run on 13 carries. Brady Oliveira also carried the ball 13 times for 107 yards.

However, the Aggies proved too much for UND to handle through the air and their passing game led them to a 38-17 lead at the half.

UND quarterback Keaton Studsrud was just 13 of 25 for 157 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

The Fighting Hawks fall to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference. Next Saturday, they will host Northern Colorado at 2:30 p.m.
