UND Gets Decimated on the Road at South Dakota
It seemed like a highlight reel of a first half for the South Dakota Coyotes that helped them jump out to a 31-0 lead on their way to a 45-7 victory over North Dakota.
South Dakota quarterback Chris Streveler threw for 290 yards on 23 of 30 passing, while running in two touchdowns and throwing for another. Coyotes running back Kai Henry ran in a pair of touchdowns, which included a 34-yard score as South Dakota piled up 575 total yards of total offense on the Fighting Hawks (400 in the first half).
UND was held to just 102 yards on the ground, just a week after rushing for 253 yards against Missouri St. The lone score for the Fighting Hawks came in the third quarter on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Keaton Studsrud to Travis Toivonen.
