You Betcha! This winter has been up and down, now the temperatures will be going down again, and really down and the weather service is again using terms like dangerous and life threatening.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a WIND CHILL advisory as the temperatures will dip again into a range that can be very dangerous.

Dangerous in terms of how extended exposure to the elements can be cause hypothermia. Extended, unprotected exposure to these temperatures can result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If working or spending extended time outdoors, make sure to cover all exposed skin and dress in layers.

Carry a winter survival kit if traveling.

Here are the details. The Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a wind chill advisory, which is in effect from 6 PM CST this evening to noon CST Thursday.

This wind chill can be LIFE THREATENING and very DANGEROUS!

This dangerous and life threatening winter weather will be in the area Wednesday night through Thursday morning.
Northerly winds around 10 mph, combined with subzero temperatures ranging from 10 below to 20 below zero, will produce dangerous wind chills in the 30's below zero across the region.

Areas include Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, Fort Yates, New Salem, Carrington, Towner, Rolla, Williston, Steele, Jamestown, Dickinson, Watford City Beach and Linton.
