After standing tall in downtown Fargo for more than 100 years, the Ball building is no more.

It all happened Friday, January 29th, as the group that purchased the building, the Kilbourne Group, put it out of its misery with a huge wrecking ball.

According to an article published by InForum back in December, the building was battling structural issues and was deemed unsafe. The Kilbourne Group, which is led by Doug Burgum, felt their best course of action was to demolish the building.

The space the Ball building once occupied will become a temporary parking lot later this year, though there are plans to redevelop the site in the future.
