HOT 975 is excited to introduce our new team member to the Bis-Man community. Please join us in welcoming Joey Dee to the HOT family!

Joey comes to us from the Pacific Northwest, where he grew up in Seattle, Washington. As an avid soccer fan, he closely follows the Seattle Sounders FC, Chelsea FC, and the US Men’s National Team. When not watching soccer, you can usually find him in the studio producing beats for some of the Northwest’s hottest DJ’s.

Joey started in radio in college, but not at the college station. He got his first job at KLSY in Seattle doing everything from board operations to engineering to producing nightly shows. After a few years, he decided to pursue his thriving DJ career. Knowing radio was still where his heart was at, Joey came back to radio as the Music Director of KQMV - MOViN 92.5 Seattle where he has spent the last 6.5 years.

As a DJ, Joey started producing music right out of high school. Following in his brother's footsteps (local legend DJ Berfy), he took to the art of the turntablist and developed DJ 3NZ0. His career has seen him produce music for some of the Northwest's hottest DJ's, as well as play the biggest stages in the city and in all Seattle's hottest clubs!

On the few nights he spends in the house, you’ll find him indulging in shows like The Newsroom, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and watching the Food Network.

When asked about his favorite music, Joey shares:

On my phone, you’ll find music from Calvin Harris, Rudemental, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Billy Joel, and above all … David Guetta. I’ve never heard a type of music that I don’t appreciate in some way, but EDM and Pop music will always be my favorites.

Joey loves talking to listeners, trying to get into their heads about what music they like. He doesn't want to pick the music he wants to hear ... he's going to spend time picking the music they want to hear. Joey wants every listener to feel like this is THEIR station.

Make sure to tune in and listen to Joey every weekday from 2-7pm.

Welcome, Joey, we're glad to have you on board!
