Well Known Mandan Business On The Strip Appears Closed?
Another casualty on the strip in Mandan?
Prairie Patriot Firearms, located on the Memorial Highway at 3930 Memorial Highway in Mandan appears to be closed. The business has actually been shut down for a couple of months. However, it was assumed it would re-open at some point. The business had previously had a sign out the door closed for "rebranding." Now, that sign has since been changed. It now reads "closed."
The business sold a wide array of products.
Prairie Patriot Firearms sold firearms, ammunition, cigars, coffee, and a lot of concealed gear, especially for women. You could also buy items like pepper spray. The business also hosted a lot of events with organizations like "The Mule Deer Foundation" and "The National Turkey Foundation." They also hosted hunter safety classes and gun safety classes. Inside of Prairie Patriot Ammunition, you will also find inside shooting range.
I reached out to the store.
I placed a call to their business phone line and a recorded message says the line has been disconnected. The owner of Prairie Patriot Firearms is Josette Severson. In a recent phone call with one of our Townsquare Media representatives Josette said, "although the business is now closed, she had hoped to open it up back soon." However, It does not appear that will be anytime soon with the current sign outside the building.
Prairie Patriot Firearms bills itself is a discount firearms distributor offering a complete selection of firearms and sporting goods equipment at the best price, according to its Facebook page.
There's a lot of chatter about the business on social media and around town. Time will tell if this is temporary or permanent?
