30,000 Eggs?! Massive Egg Hunt At Bismarck’s UMary
Something Unique:
Looking for a different kind of egg hunt this Easter? Here's one to try. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is putting on a First Responder Egg Hunt. You can go to any one of the many Easter egg hunts in town, but why not go to one that's dedicated to all the men and women in uniform...first responders, military and their families?!
Fun AND inspiring for the kiddos!
There will be 30,000 eggs to find. Yep, you read that right, 30,000 eggs! They will even have first responder vehicles on display. It's a great chance for pictures with the vehicles, and allow the kids to meet some of our first responders. Who knows, maybe it will inspire some kids to pursue a career as a first responder.
To Make It Fair:
There will be four different egg hunts. They are splitting it up into different age groups, so everyone gets a fair and equal chance at finding some eggs.
When & Where?
The egg hunt will take place at the UMary Fieldhouse on April 16th -- the day before Easter. Which, is great because it won't take away from any Easter plans you have on the actual holiday.
It's a free event for the public, and will go from 10am to 1pm, but I'd get there a little early to get situated. Oh, and you won't leave hungry. They're are also having a BBQ. And... as far as I know there's no online pre-registration required.
What a cute and creative way to celebrate the holiday. My question: can I... I mean, can the kids go inside the firetrucks and honk the horns?
