9th Annual ’96 Hours of Caring’ Brings Out the Best in Bismarck-Mandan
For the ninth year in a row, we asked Bismarck-Mandan to join us in helping the less fortunate, and for the ninth year in a row, our community responded.
We teamed up with the Missouri Slope Areawide United Way to raise awareness and donations for 8 local charitable organizations. For four straight days, we broadcast live from local businesses and talked with the organizations to collect donations for them.
At the end of the week, we were able to raise more than $3,000 and collect over 3,000 pounds of food! The donations were split evenly among the following local organizations:
- United Way
- Salvation Army
- Neighbors Network
- Youthworks
- Ruth Meiers
- Welcome House
- Aid Inc.
- Charles Hall Youth Services
Thanks to everyone who was involved in making this year's 96 Hours of Caring a success! We couldn't have done it without you.
