Bismarck Advances, will Compete in National Science Bowl
Students from Bismarck High School beat their regional competition and now will advance on to the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. April 27 to May 1.
Bismarck High School's Science Bowl team beat out more than 20 schools at the regional competition, which took place at the University of Mary. Students were tested in the subjects of science, energy, and math in both high school and college level courses.
BHS's team consists of senior Sam Wolf and juniors Dan Stenehjem, Zach Strombeck, Sarah Vadnais. Freshman Jayden Vollmuth is an alternative team member. The adviser for the Senior Bowl team at BHS is Valerie Smallbeck.
