Bismarck Fire Department Responds to Truck Fire Early This Morning

At 12:40 am this morning, the Bismarck Fire Department responded to a report of a truck on fire at the Oasis Truck Stop on E Divide Ave. 

The responding company reported being able to see smoke and fire from a distance. When they arrived, the Volvo truck was in flames, with the fire starting to spread to the trailer. The owner of the truck was no longer inside as he was awakened by a bystander that alerted him to the smoke.

The 12 firefighters that responded to the call were able to knock down the flames quickly. No injuries reported, but the truck is a total loss.
