Bismarck-Mandan’s Highest Rated Pet Groomers

Sometimes finding a good local groomer can be "Ruff." -- Get it? If you're already annoyed at the pun, just know I plan on doing at least three more in this article, so buckle up.

Ratings

In order to find which pet groomers are the the most "Pawesome" and highest-rated in Bismarck-Mandan, we looked at not only Google ratings, but the number of reviews given to each business.

We did this, because many places have a high rating, but only have a handful of reviews. Others have hundreds of reviews and a lower rating as a result.

Keep In Mind

Keep in mind, we will be excluding major chains from this article. While some chain pet stores might be good at grooming, we're strictly looking at our local businesses. #ShopLocal

Highest-Rated & Most Reviews

Pet Place Grooming

In business for more than 10 years, it's no surprise that it has been reviewed quite a bit. Overall Pet Place has the most stars and reviews.

Fun Fact: This one I've taken my pug, Hank, to as well. He stayed there for a few days when I went out of town. Here's a picture of Hank:

If I didn't know better, I'd think he took this picture himself.

Anyway...

The business has two different locations in Bismarck; one is for grooming services and the other for boarding.

They offer something a little unique too. When you board a dog with them, they have people playing with them in a house all day.

They roam pretty freely, and even get their own bedrooms with couches at night. It is a little pricier than other boarders, but definitely worth it.

The business has 4.8 stars and 117 reviews.

Unleashed Grooming

Where: Broadway Ave., Bismarck

Here's another one with a lot of reviews and a decently high rating.

This is where I take my dog, Hank, to doggy daycare. As far as I can tell, he loves it. I have yet to use their grooming services, but out of the 90 reviews, most of them were positive. The business ranked at 4.4 stars on Google.

Modest Reviews

Here are a few places that have moderate/respectable ratings.

1. Four Paws Inn

Where: Commerce Dr., Bismarck

Four Paws has been in business for more that 10 years, and not only do they groom animals, but they also offer boarding services. This one has 53 reviews on Google.

While the majority of the reviews were positive, some did comment on the prices being a bit spendy. Personally, I would say it's comparable to most grooming places.

K-9 Cuts

Where: S. 12th St., Bismarck

This is another one that has been in business for more than 10 years. As of now it's garnered a total of 30 reviews and has earned 4.7 stars.

Top Dog Grooming LLC

Where: Morrison Ave., Bismarck

4.7 stars and 58 reviews isn't too shabby. Most of the reviews say this groomer is not only quick, but also thorough

Top Dog has been in business for approximately 3 years, and seems to be making a lot of pet owners happy. The business has a 4.7 star rating, and has 58 reviews to date.

Mobile Paw Spa

Where: Your Home!

This one has gotten quite a bit of word-of-mouth and is a little "Dif-fur-ent." This groomer rolls around Bismarck in a trailer, and will actually come to your house, park outside, and groom your pet. How cool?! While this place only has 5 reviews, we still thought it was worth a mention.

Note: There are several other mobile pet businesses in the area to choose from.

Puppy Plaza & Divine Pet Grooming

Where: Mandan

I take my cat, Penny, to this groomer. -- She has long hair, and it gets a little out of hand. If you're looking for a really good price, and great cut, you might want to give this place a try. Tell them Andi sent ya.

This one currently has 4.6 stars and 36 reviews.
