Carson Wentz Launching Audience Of One Foundation in North Dakota
Carson Wentz announced his new AO1 Foundation and it kicks off on Wednesday in Oxbow, North Dakota.
The Bismarck, North Dakota native and Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback wants to focus the main goals of his new foundation on three of his main passions: his faith, his extreme love for dogs, and his affinity for the outdoors.
According to the new nonprofit foundation's website, the mission statement of AO1 is to "demonstrate the love of God by providing opportunities and support for the less fortunate and those in need."
Wentz's new foundation has three main objectives:
Underprivileged Youth
"To care for and provide food, shelter and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth living abroad."
Hunting & Outdoor Opportunities
"To provide hunting and outdoor opportunities for individuals with physical challenges, the underserved, or US vets living in the midwest."
Service Dogs
"To support youth in the Philadelphia area by providing service dogs to assist with their development and quality of life."
The launch will take place at a private event at the Oxbow Country Club in Oxbow, ND.
Not only has Wentz been a leader on the football field and in the locker room, but now he's giving back to the community. For more on the Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation, visit ao1foundation.org.
