Carson Wentz Still Has Overall Lead in NFL Pro-Bowl Voting
With just one week left for the fans to vote, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is currently leading in the 2018 NFL Pro Bowl voting by the fans.
In an NFL press release, it was revealed that for the third straight week, Wentz leads all players with an overall tally of 562,958 votes, which is more than 63,000 votes than the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who is currently second.
Brady has 499,727 total votes, followed by Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell with 499,022 votes, and Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown with 487,170 votes. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees rounds out the top five with 439,079 overall votes.
The Pro Bowl, also the NFL’s All-Star game, will be in Orlando, FL on January 28th. The game takes place one week before the Super Bowl. However, that also means Carson Wentz’s fans will not want him physically participating in the Pro Bowl since that would mean the Eagles would be going deep into the playoffs and may potentially be in the Super Bowl.
That notion aside, fans can still vote for Carson Wentz for the Pro Bowl, along with any of your other favorite players throughout the league here.
Voting ends on December 14th. NFL coaches and players will also cast their votes on December 15th. The Pro Bowl players will be announced on NFL Network on December 19th.
The game will air at 3 p.m. on January 28th on both ESPN and ABC.
