Carson Wentz threw a career high 4 touchdown passes and the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Arizona Cardinals, 34-7 at home.

Wentz finished with 304 yards passing while going 21 of 30 with 4 touchdowns as he led the Eagles offense to a more than productive day in Philadelphia.

Arizona’s offense struggled all day as the Eagles defense held the Cardinals to just.....of offense.

Wentz led the Eagles to scoring drives on their first three possessions, all in the first quarter. The first coming on a 15-yard pass to tight end Trey Burton to make it 7-0. The Eagles then forced a punt and Kenjon Barner returned it 76 yards to the Cardinals 15 yard line. It took just three plays for the Eagles to find the end zone again when Wentz hit Zach Ertz for an 11-yard score to make it 14-0. After another Cardinals punt, Wentz went deep down the middle to Torrey Smith for a 59-yard touchdown to make it 21-0.

The Cardinals scored in the second quarter on a 13-yard pass to John Brown to make it 21-7. As time expired in the first half, the Eagles blocked a 51-yard field goal attempt from the Cardinals to keep it 21-7.

In the third quarter, the Eagles were back at it. After a 36-yard field goal from Jake Elliott to make 24-7, the Eagles next possession had them at a 3rd and 19 when Wentz threw deep to Nelson Agholor for a 72-yard touchdown after some quick moves by Agholor on the Arizona defender.
