The geniuses behind food blog and kitchen and home products website Foodiggity.com have imagined all fifty states as food puns -- and even included illustrations.

Armed with a set of state-shaped cookie cutters and a love of wordplay, the team set out to make each state out of a food. The series, called The Foodnited States of America, features all 50 states. The project came about when Foodiggity founder Chris Durso's young son suggested they make states out of food. Durso almost dismissed the idea, until his son added, “But what if they like had funny names like New Pork or New Jerky?"

On the list, you'll find such tummy-ticklers as "Quinoashington," "Swissconsin," "South Dacocoa Puffs," "Naantana," and "Ramennesota."

Maybe someday, you might plan a vacation to "Sirachawaii" or "Floradicchio." You might visit your kids in "New Mexiquiche" or casino-hop in "Bananavada Bread."

Here's a fun idea for any traveling foodies who plan to tour the country hitting all 50 of these here United States: order the poster from The Foodiggity Shop and try each state's "namesake" while there.

Bon Voyage!
