This is what happens when you get a beautiful North Dakota day, plus a bunch of good spirited motorcycle enthusiasts. You become a part of something that is bigger than yourself.

This morning (5/7), The Christian Motorcyclist Association, Bismarck Chapter (Corner Stone Cyclists), hosted a bike ride to benefit the missions of the CMA charities. Riders met at the Classic Rock Coffee Shop in Mandan. Kick stands went up at 10 a.m., the riders hit I94 East to Steele, then North to Harvey for lunch where they met up with other CMA chapters. After a lunch break, the ride took the back roads to Wilton, ND. Then back to Bismarck. In total, we rode over 200 miles.

This is a national event. Locally, the CMA/ Bismarck Chapter raised over $3000. Nationally, as of 3 p.m., the total was over $1 million from all of the chapters in the US and Canada. This is the one day when CMA chapters host the annual Run for the Son. The annual event was held today by the local CMA chapter and all of the chapters in the US and Canada. You can see the final amount of money raised here.
