Due To Staffing Issues Bismarck’s Bucks To Close Part Of The Week
It was announced recently that Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse's General Manager and owner Brad Erickson would be retiring after their annual New Year's Eve bash.
Brad Erickson has been at the helm of Borrowed Bucks since its inspection and before that, he managed the night club Shades. Overall Erickson has been managing clubs for 37 years.
Well, after the ball dropped and the smoke cleared, another big announcement emerged from Borrowed Bucks. According to an email obtained from Erickson, due to the lack of staff, they have decided to close Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse Monday thru Thursday effective immediately. The club will remain open as normal on the weekend.
This announcement comes after Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse in Fargo closed earlier this year. Back on June 4th of 2022, after 31 years, Borrowed Bucks in Fargo closed its doors for good.
Borrowed Bucks in Grand Forks saw a similar fate but closed much earlier back in June of 2016.
Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse in Bismarck has been a staple in downtown Bismarck for a long time. Their annual "Bucks for Bras" campaign has raised over $350,000 dollars according to our news partner KX News. This past October's Bucks for Bras was their 11th annual event.
I have a lot of good memories of hanging out at Borrowed Bucks over the years with my softball team. It's one of the few places left in Bismarck Mandan where you can dance. It's also a favorite of our staff when it comes to grabbing a beer or two after work.
We wish General Manager Brad Erickson all the best in his retirement and we hope that Borrowed Bucks will solve its staffing issues.
