Fargo Airport First In The World To Add Immersive Reality & Sensory Rooms
Fargo's Hector International airport has had a lot going on lately. They recently did a terminal expansion project, added a new parking ramp, and a skyway connection. They will also be renovating existing terminals in 2027.
Another Addition to the Airport
According to Valley News Live, Fargo's Hector International Airport has added immersive reality rooms and sensory rooms for passengers.
The source explains that the immersive reality rooms allow travelers to explore more than 700 interactive environments with 360-degree computer-generated imagery.

The sensory rooms are quite the opposite, as they are meant to be a calm space for passengers. This is a nice addition to the airport, especially for children on the autism spectrum and for individuals with sensory sensitivities. The rooms have low lighting, comfortable seating, and a bubble wall.
The source says these rooms were built in order to enhance the passenger experience, and I, for one, think it's great.
Fun Fact: I recently visited an immersive reality art exhibit in Phoenix, Arizona, and if the immersive reality room is anything like it, I think people will love it.
