Beautiful People Who Care About Others In Bismarck/Mandan
One of my favorite things about my job is meeting and talking to REAL people
At least twice every weekday, I get a chance to make some people happy on 96.5 The Walleye - in the 9 am hour, I give away "The Sweet Catch" ( a dozen Bearscat Bakehouse donuts, AND a Classic Rock Coffee & Kitchen gift certificate ), and then later I do "The Shore Lunch" ( lunch from Bruno's Pizza ) - I love engaging in conversation with them on the air.
Today I took the time to stop by their workplace
A couple of times in the last week, I have had two winners who work at Seeds Of Hope - 520 East Main Avenue, so today I decided to take a trip over there and meet them. Since 1995 this wonderful safe haven non-profit place has been around, taking care of so many people. THIS says it all ( a classy "Thank you for your purchase!" note )
"All proceed benefit the Abused Adult Resource Center for victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault"
For 30 years Seeds Of Hope has been a godsend to the community
With over 25 employees and volunteers, their sincere ambition and true love shines through, i felt that the second I walked into their charming comfortable place.
Hailey was telling me all about October 17th
A delightful Christmas store that raised over $87,000 just last year, and you can find it inside Seeds Of Hope - October 17th it begins! When you are walking around this store, you can't help but feel at ease, and this is a huge part of what makes this place so special - Seeds Of Hope take a total team effort, they take donations every day except on Wednesday.
Hailey, Hollee, Corey and Dave are a huge part of what makes this thrift store so unique
It's the people who clearly care for others in their community, that go the extra mile when they are talking about their store. You can see it in their eyes when they talk about what they love the most about what they do - helping others, and providing such a needed service - if you have never set foot inside this store, you owe yourself a visit.
