Minnesota Shoplifter Shows Up at Scene of Crime in Limo

She could afford a limousine, but she couldn't afford to pay her $300 mall tab.

A 22-year-old woman from Rochester, Minnesota hired a limo to drive her to the city's Apache Mall on  Monday (Aug 10). Once there, she proceeded to lift $300 in merchandise from a sporting goods store.

The woman fought with security officers who tried to apprehend her, took off running from the mall... and called the limo service to pick her up again and take her back to the Kahler Grand Hotel.

The driver then happened to spot police in their search and asked for a description of the person they were looking for. He told them it sounded like the woman he was supposed to pick up, and offered to lead them right to her.

When the driver arrived at the pickup spot with police in tow, the suspect was immediately arrested.
