North Dakota isn't for everybody. As crazy as it sounds, some people don't like living here, and for good reason. To better illustrates the problems people have when they move to this state, we put together a list of reasons why you shouldn't move to North Dakota.

Let's dive in!

1. Rush Hour

If you move to North Dakota you may notice we don't really have much traffic. The worst traffic we get is during the summer months when there is a lot of road construction, so if you love to road rage and get a thrill out of rush hour traffic, you should find another state to live in. The worst traffic we have here will make your ten minute commute to work about fifteen minutes.

2. Waving

This is especially true if you are boating on the river during the summer months--people will wave at you. It's a lot of work waving your arm at every stranger you see. If you don't want a friendly greeting and an arm workout, I'd stay far away.

3. Quiet

North Dakota isn't a loud buzzing state. If you need constant chaos and love the sound of ambulances and car horns blaring, you're not going to like it here. In North Dakota, we're laid back, quiet, and drama free.

4. Do It Yourself-er

If you like to handle every problem and obstacle life throws at you alone, then North Dakota is not for you. Every single person here will offer you for help.

Let's say you have a flat tire and are stranded on the side of the road, five people will stop within a fifteen minute timespan to offer you assistance. If you get a thrill out of getting yourself out of pickles like this. North Dakota should not be on your radar.

5. Flat Land

For the most part, North Dakota is a flat state, if you like walking up inclines and hate uninterrupted views of the sunset, you're not going to like North Dakota; consider moving somewhere else.

6. Everyone Will Know Everything

North Dakota has a small population, so if you don't want to have a very large family that cares bout you and takes a genuine interest in your life and general wellbeing, you better post up somewhere else.
