N.D. Lawmakers May be Required to Live in Home Districts
A new resolution that has just been approved by the North Dakota Senate will require lawmakers in the state to live in the districts they are governing.
The resolution was penned in response to numerous complaints from residents that those running their districts weren't actually residents themselves.
Heads of both the Democratic and Republican parties support the passing of the resolution by North Dakota voters.
If passed, the resolution will be an amendment to the state constitution.
