North Dakota's Raynes Band Featured In 'Love Is Blind'

It's not every day that you hear about a North Dakotan making it in a Netflix TV show, but that's the case today. While scrolling through Instagram today, I noticed that the band Raynes had posted a new video, and what they said was very exciting.

If you're not familiar, Raynes is a pop trio that formed in 2017. You may have heard their incredibly catchy song, "Come My Way." They've actually popped by the Hot 97.5 studio a time or two to talk about their upcoming shows and let us hear their new music. In 2018, the group signed with Sony Music, and since then, they have continued to grow and become more and more successful.

About Raynes

The vocalist is a man named Mark Race; he actually met the other group members through Instagram. Mat Charley plays multiple instruments for the group and is a native of North Dakota, originally from Minot. He met the band's guitarist, Joe Berger ( Mandan native), while attending the University of Mary.

A Netflix Debut

In the Instagram video they posted today, the group announced that their single, "I Want You Want Me," would be featured in the new season (Season 9) of the wildly successful and addictive Netflix series, "Love is Blind."

The song is featured in episode 9 of the show, at approximately 11 minutes in. The good news is that you don't have to wait to check it out; the new season of Love is Blind just dropped today (October 1st 2025). Show our North Dakota boys some love and watch the episode.
